A big part of the Whistler experience is après - and the late night fun at the nightclubs. Whistler is known for it. Most establishments are just minutes from the ski lifts and all of them are contained within the pedestrian-only Village. Everything is within walking distance. Let's Go for Après Après comes from the French word meaning "after" and marks the social occasion after skiing when people come together for drinks, food and fun. Walk through the Village after the lifts close (from 3 PM onwards) and many bars and restaurants will be buzzing with excitement - especially in the spring. Some people consider après the best part of a ski vacation. |
